I have always wished for universal transparency in most of my emails. The ones that make me smile, laugh, cry, and pull my hair out from frustration.

So this is a pilot test for my blog to see if people care about reading emails from me to anons. The reason for this is I really try to imprint my tone in everything I write: banter through instant message or in this, a heart felt message to a dear friend.

It’s amazing how some of my best ideas and writing comes from conversations I have in private and I think it’s such a shame that nobody else will ever read it. Being private, it’s more honest, but maybe releasing them to be public will force me to show a side only some know me as so intimately. I will only be showing my instalments for respect of privacy.

Please let me know what you think of the format.

Admittedly I haven’t been writing for public consumption but my dad said this email was so “me”, I thought perhaps too “me” not to share. It comes from a place of desperation and discouragement yet simultaneously a place of hope and aspiration. After being forced to relinquish so much, it’s nice to know there is always something to hold onto.
